Kranjska Gora and its surroundings provide a rich cultural programme. Many of these events have become traditional and take place every year and, together with the catering offer, round off the place as a perfect tourist destination. Among them are the Vitranc Cup and Xplosion of Fun, ski jumping and flying in Planica, Kranjska Gora Days of Sports and Fun, Ascent up Vršič, Village Day in Rateče, The Kranjska Gora Ten, A Trip to the Three-Country Border, the Andrej Run to Vršič, the event at the Russian Chapel, the Aljaž Days, the Mushing Competition, Kekec Days, Triglav Trophy, the Lavtižar Festival and the Start of the Season.
